Med tech company Occuity has announced the signing of several distributor partnership agreements with leading ophthalmic distributors across the UK and Europe ahead of the launch of the PM1 Pachymeter in summer 2023.
The PM1 Pachymeter, developed by Occuity, offers numerous benefits to the ophthalmic community.
Former Apple industrial designer, Daniele De Illuis, and his team have created a streamlined design and intuitive user experience.
The non-contact, handheld device enables central corneal thickness measurements to be made in seconds.
Occuity CEO, Dan Daly, said: “We are looking forward to introducing the PM1 to the market.
“Having completed successful clinical trials and submitted for CE certification, we are confident in its exceptional performance.
“Through discussions with distributors across Europe, we believe there will be significant demand for the PM1 and have therefore carefully chosen partners who share our dedication to delivering exceptional ophthalmic devices.”
In the UK, Occuity has partnered with Birmingham Optical, a distributor offering a range of leading brands.

Occuity has also signed distributor agreements with several other ophthalmic companies across Europe including E. Janach in Italy, bon Optic in Germany, Medilens for the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, and Norway), Iogen Oy, for Finland, Latvia and Estonia.
