Game-changing health innovations to be celebrated at global awards

The Health Tech World Awards 2025, delivered in partnership with headline sponsor Convenzis, celebrates the brightest lights in health innovation.

Now in its third year, the awards will recognise the best examples of leadership, innovation and impact helping to transform lives and outcomes around the world.

The Most Improved Patient Outcomes Award celebrates healthcare providers, organisations, tech developers and others that have demonstrated exceptional progress in enhancing patient care through the innovative use of technology and new ways of working.

The award is sponsored by The HealthTech Research Centre in Accelerated Surgical Care which aims to drive HealthTech innovation patients and healthcare systems to deliver socio-economic benefit through quicker diagnosis and treatment of surgical conditions with safe, early recovery in the community.

The centre is hosted by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, working closely with the University of Leeds, a leading UK University with strengths in biomedical research.

NIHR HealthTech Research Centres (HRCs) work with medical device, diagnostic and digital health technology companies to develop, evaluate and validate new medical technology and diagnostics.

HRCs are centres of excellence located in leading NHS organisations across England that accelerate the development of healthcare technologies to improve the effectiveness and quality of health and care services.

HRCs can help medical device, digital technology and diagnostic companies to develop new innovative medical technologies.

This includes help to generate the evidence to demonstrate financial value (health economics) or improve operational efficiency in the NHS (real-world evidence generation).

“Our remit is to support the development and evidence generation of HealthTech across the surgical pathway, and demonstrating improved patient outcomes is key to demonstrating impact for the NHS and other healthcare systems.”

The Health Tech World Awards are free to enter, with winners and shortlisted entries receiving extensive coverage across all Health Tech World platforms.

Winners will also receive a physical award and have the opportunity to be interviewed for the publication.
