Time is running out to submit your health tech innovation

Entries for the Health Tech World Awards 2026 will close on 14 August, giving healthcare innovators, companies and leaders a narrowing window to submit their work for consideration across eight award categories.

The awards, which opened for nominations in November 2025, are designed to recognise individuals, companies and technologies driving progress across life sciences, medtech and digital health.

Categories include Leader of the Year, AI Innovation, Startup of the Year, Digital Health Innovation and Most Improved Patient Outcomes, each backed by an industry sponsor.

Among them is the Health Tech Innovation award, sponsored by medical device design and development firm Fearsome.

The category honours technologies that are changing how healthcare is delivered, accessed or experienced, with judges looking for solutions that address significant healthcare challenges and demonstrate clear impact on patients, providers or health systems.

Once entries close, a shortlisting and judging process will run from 17 August to 28 September.

Winners will then be announced on 5 October during an online video presentation.

Other categories in this year’s awards include Femtech Company of the Year, sponsored by Cross-Border Impact Ventures, and Health Tech Company of the Year, sponsored by Ruder Finn, alongside awards backed by Reddie & Grose, Osborne Clarke, Exponential-e and the NIHR Research Centre in Accelerated Surgical Care.

Organisers are encouraging companies, teams and individuals working in health technology to submit entries before the deadline, with the awards offering a rare opportunity for innovators to have their work formally recognised by industry judges and showcased alongside some of the sector’s leading names.

Entries can be submitted via the official Health Tech World Awards 2026 entry page ahead of the 14 August deadline.
