Ahead Health has raised €8.7m to expand its preventative healthcare platform into Germany and the Netherlands.
The Zurich-based company previously raised €5.1m, equivalent to US$6m, in January 2026.
Nick Lenten, chief executive and co-founder of Ahead Health, said: “We built Ahead in Switzerland to prove that prevention can be rigorous, fast and useful, and it works.
“From today, people in Munich can book a preventive check-up, with the Netherlands opening the waitlist. We’re assembling the best team in European prevention, and we’re only getting started.”
Founded in 2024 by former Google executives, doctors and healthtech builders, Ahead Health provides personalised preventative health checks.
The company said its platform combines advanced blood tests, whole-body MRI and a person’s medical history in a single check-up reviewed by a doctor.
Ahead Health said bringing together different sources of health information could provide a more complete picture and support more relevant decisions.
The platform uses repeat testing to compare a person’s results with their own baseline rather than relying on a single snapshot.
It translates complex biomarkers into personalised information and suggested actions. Biomarkers are measurable characteristics, such as substances in the blood, that can indicate health or disease.
The company claims this approach could help detect conditions including cancer, brain disease, endometriosis and cardiovascular problems years earlier than traditional healthcare.
Ahead Health also claims its full-body MRI scan and blood tests take 30 minutes, produce a personalised health plan and are supported by a fully digital process.
The investment was led by venture capital firms 3VC and RTP Global.

The company plans to use the funding to support its expansion across Germany and the Netherlands.
