The Health Tech Awards 2023 sponsored by CCube Solutions are back and bigger than ever!
This year we’re joined by almost 200 judges from across the health tech community to analyse and assess the entries to select the winners! In February we announced our first group of judges, which was followed by a recent announcement of a further group of judges joining us.
The awards share and celebrate digital teams, programmes, innovations and health tech suppliers that have made a difference throughout the year and provides a platform to share these achievements to help shape future systems and services across the sector.
The deadline to enter is 19 June 2023, midnight, which is fixed. The finalists will then be announced on our website on 11 September 2023 through a series of in-depth feature articles. Finally, the digital awards evening will take place on our website on 12 October 2023.

Let’s look back at the previous winners of the HTN Awards 2022…
Best Health Tech Solution of the Year saw C2-Ai on top in a category featuring 21 finalists. The Cheshire and Merseyside model for stratifying the elective surgical waiting list was built around C2-Ai’s AI-backed prioritisation system using uses 30 years of research to create priority scores built on detailed calculations for mortality and complication risks.
The category of Best Use of Digital in Primary Care saw Mendelian take the top spot. Their AI case-finding software MendelScan uses clinician built algorithms to capture disease features from patient records across entire populations and matches them against diagnostic criteria for hundreds of rare and hard-to-diagnose diseases.
The winner of Major Project Go Live was ImproveWell who partnered with The Royal College of Psychiatrists to tackle staff burnout and support wellbeing. The programme achieved 50 percent improvement in the percentage of people who enjoyed being at work frequently and 41 percent improvement in the percentage of people experiencing no symptoms of burnout.
Coming out on top in the category of Most Promising Pilot was Lancashire and South Cumbria Health and Care Partnership and BridgeHead Software, piloting a new digitised and mobile workflow and data management solution.
The category of Best Use of AI and Automation Tools saw Transform and Health Education England win. Transform and Health Education partnered to use data and advanced analytics to deliver breakthrough insights and build confidence in AI.
Next, Intelligent Lilli won the category of Best Use of Data. Intelligent Lilli’s remote monitoring tech supports a proactive approach to home care and uses data from discrete sensors in the home which record activities such as movement, eating and drinking, power-usage and door opening.
Excellence in Engagement and Communication saw App Rail on top in a great category. SpeakUp from App Rail empowers NHS staff to report concerns to result in better working conditions and quality of care.
