NHS SBS opens cloud solutions framework – htn

Through an estimated £500 million framework, it includes four lots to cover solution design and consultancy, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS).

The contract is currently active, however the buying department is looking for further suppliers to join. It aims to support NHS SBS approved organisations across NHS and social care to utilise the framework when procuring cloud based solutions.

NHS SBS added a commitment to work with “suppliers who are dedicated to sustainability and social value and there will be a significant weighting on these elements in the tender”.

In March, NHS SBS updated its remote patient monitoring procurement framework. This framework consists of six lots: remote clinical monitoring, alarm receiving centre platforms, digital alarms solutions and peripherals, intelligent activity monitoring, patient controlled personalised healthcare records, and a ‘one stop shop’ combined solution.

The organisation in the same month opened an AI procurement framework. Here, the framework supports procurement of tools for the clinical-decision making process, and AI algorithms to provide an interpretation of imaging to support review and diagnosis.
