Open Medical has announced the introduction of Pathpoint eTrauma at the Medway NHS Foundation Trust.
The award-winning system is set to transform and enhance orthopaedic trauma procedures throughout the entire department with its unmatched capabilities.
Through Open Medical’s partnership with DePuy Synthes, the orthopaedic company of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, the Trust was able to maximise the value of their use of DePuy Synthes’ surgical products with Open Medical’s platform Pathpoint eTrauma via Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s Value-Based Healthcare offering.
By replacing legacy systems like whiteboards, excel spreadsheets, and word documents with a cloud-based digital trauma coordination platform, Pathpoint eTrauma will transform the way patients are managed.
eTrauma, developed by practising orthopaedic surgeons, uses a user-centric approach and covers every stage of the patient journey, from injury to rehabilitation.
It centralises and enhances orthopaedic trauma care by automating the referral process and allowing for effective coordination across multidisciplinary teams, providing visibility across the entire patient pathway.
