LFH Regulatory reaches five year milestone

Yorkshire based medical device and IVD consultancy LFH Regulatory is celebrating its fifth anniversary this month.

Founded in 2019 by Huddersfield based Laura Friedl-Hirst, the company has rapidly expanded from a one-woman operation to a robust team of six, with two additional members set to join in the coming months.

Having worked in various manufacturing companies before transitioning to a demanding corporate role, Friedl-Hirst found extensive weekly travel challenging, especially with a young daughter at home.

The desire for a better work-life balance motivated her to create a consultancy that not only delivered exceptional services but also prioritised flexibility and a supportive work environment.

Friedl-Hirst said: “In just five years, it’s been amazing to see the company grow so much.

“Our team isn’t just about expertise; it’s about personality and passion.

“As a woman-led business, we firmly believe in creating an environment where everyone feels supported and has space to thrive.

“Given our size and the passion our team brings to the table, there’s so much more opportunity for where we can get to, and we’re very eager to see where it takes us.”

LFH Regulatory’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity was recently recognised with the Gender Inclusive Employer award by Femtech World in May.

As a woman-led business, LFH Regulatory prides itself on creating an environment where every team member feels supported and empowered to succeed, regardless of gender.

This commitment extends to flexible working policies and leadership appointments, reflecting Laura’s dedication to celebrating diverse backgrounds and experiences within the business.

Adding to their accolades, LFH Regulatory was also announced as a finalist for The BizX UK’s Biggest Business Event, Awards & Forum for Best Personal Growth.

This recognition underscores the company’s dedication to both professional excellence and personal development.

Looking to the future, Friedl-Hirst said: “We’re eager to see where we can go and how much we can grow. Ideally, we’d love to double the size of our team and expand our client base significantly.

“We’re also aiming to boost our revenue as we take on new and exciting projects so we can continue to build on the strong foundation we’ve established.”
