Humber Teaching reveals EPR provider, “following a dedicated period of procurement” – htn

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust has announced TPP SystmOne as its electronic patient record provider, “following a dedicated period of procurement”.

The trust made the announcement this month, under a programme brand of ‘Be Digital’ – including the strap-line of Discover, Develop, Design and Deploy. The EPR contract is for 10 years, with an option for a 5-year extension.

It means across 80 sites the solution will be introduced, including integration with the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record.

Commenting on the announcement, Lee Rickles, CIO at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Increasing efficiencies for both our patients and staff is high on our agenda, and having one single, optimised EPR will help us achieve our ambitious vision.” He added that “embracing digital transformation is central to ensuring high quality patient care” and will see “the system will be designed around the needs of those who use it.”

Earlier in the month, we welcomed Lee to HTN’s thought leadership panel discussion series, which focused and debated the primary and secondary interface.
