Mid and South Essex ICB awards business intelligence services contract – htn

Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract to NHS Arden & GEM Commissioning Support Unit to deliver business intelligence services and platform provision across the ICB.

The programme is said to support the integrated care board’s digital vision, to provide digital and data solutions that “drive insight-led decisions, support their workforce and enable better outcomes for their residents”. The ICB wants to move to integrated and seamless data sharing across all MSE providers and partners, and provide access to an accurate and common view of residents’ data.

The contract comes as a direct-award under the NHS Shared Business Services Framework for Multidisciplinary Consultancy Services. Initially for two years, the contract value is £5,979,470.40 (inc. VAT), with an option to extend for a further two years.

Recently as part of HTN Now, NHS Arden & GEM CSU joined the online event series to share a project on home diagnostics. Ben Panton, Senior Digital Partnership Manager, joined to share the latest trial plans and patient reactions around remote diagnostics and artificial intelligence to support endoscopy services.

As well for  HTN Now we recently welcomed Tej Gudka, Head of Cyber Security at NHS Arden and GEM CSU for a discussion on the importance of cyber security and his tips in the area.
